Fishing trip Friday 24th June 2011 - abandoned!
Went down the river today hoping to get some fishing in for a couple of days but rain stopped play! From about 4.00pm it chucked it down big time. I left at 8.00pm and it was still pounding away! Should do the river good for next week though!
Should have tried above the bridge -not too bad on Fri. Fished till dark with fly & spinner. Nice little shoalie of 1.8 lbs on a Mepps. Should be very good by mid-week.
