Went down the river Thursday morning so that I could fish Thursday and Friday nights. Both nights were pretty good weather wise and ideal for sewin if they are about! Saw or heard the odd fish but that's all! No pulls or takes! Looks as though it's going to be a slow start!
I went down to Llandeilo waters on Wednesday.Saw one otter (which swam under my rod while I was in the water) and 2 fish jump. Only had a small brownie.I did see one fish,but unfortunately for me,it was in another anglers bag (he was fishing the pool above me).Good conditioned fish,fat as you like and would be 7-8lb.Not a lot of sewin in the river yet I think.
