Fishing trip Friday 24th June 2011 - abandoned!

Went down the river today hoping to get some fishing in for a couple of days but rain stopped play! From about 4.00pm it chucked it down big time. I left at 8.00pm and it was still pounding away! Should do the river good for next week though!

    Should have tried above the bridge Andy.
    Fished up to dark with fly & spinner.
    Gadget man breaks his duck with a nice bright 1.8lb shoalie on a Mepps.

    Should be very good by mid-week.
