Rod gets lucky with bar of silver!

Tuesday night Rod hit a cracking sewin at 11.20 pm! At 10 lb + it was to many a fish of a life time but to Rod it was just another nights fishing!!! Actually he caught it in a rare moment when he wasn't asleep!

  2. Great fish for Rod there! Well done. Was it from Crewil or down the bottom end? Cheers. Tim

  3. Thanks, it was a cracking fish and broad and both of us thought it was the best sea trout we'd ever seen, really fresh and only in the river a few days. It was a good take and I thought it was a small fish at first then it realised it was hooked and fought hard but stayed deep for a while, which is unusual. However some acrobatics followed before Andrew kindly tailed it for me. He could have waited for me to smile as I looked scared stiff!! It recovered quickly and swam off strongly. Andrew thought it would have made some tasty cutlets!!
