Martin is down the river as I write this report and told me that yesterday the river rose a couple of inches and that he hooked a good fish but it didn't hold! I think he's fishing again today so lets hope he gets lucky! Looks like it's going to be up to me and Rod to turn some fish in next week?
the river was perfect this week fished Wednesday night saw 6 fish jumping before 9.00pm then do not see or hear anymore after dark. wormed Thursday and Friday mornings just a few brownies so tried the golden eye got to where i know big fish hold up. then that big pull fish on i had it on for about 5 mins. fished friday night saw a few smaller sea trout about 3 lbs jump back down for the last week that when i was going to try the golden eye. just for the salmon
