Just been looking more deeply into the water level charts! From what I can see the water level on the nights Rod and I fished and had some sport was at about 1.000m! From a fishing point of view I reckon the water was just about perfect - a nice flow making the fly come around nicely. From what I've seen of Crewel Pool this season the water flow seems slower than ever!
Hi Andrew i agree good water level is key to good sport on the towy. i like the river to be 6inch to 9inch above summer level. Like you and rod i have had some of my best fish when it is up a bit fingers crossed for the end may
ReplyDeletehi just looked at the river level it is up about 2ft 5inch at the mo and rising is should be good at the weekend if anyone is planing to go down for a few days
